What is Havering Healing Rooms?

Havering Healing Rooms provides a caring, safe and confidential environment where anyone can come to receive Christian prayer for physical, mental, emotional or spiritual healing.  

​

Everyone is welcome to come and receive prayer in the name of Jesus, whether they have a church connection or not.  Prayer is offered completely free of charge, by a trained team of Christian volunteers from different local churches.

​

It is our belief that Jesus Christ still heals and our aim is to offer prayer for you in faith that Jesus will heal you. We invite you to come for prayer and let God's healing power through Jesus Christ transform your life.

Havering Healing Rooms is part of Healing Rooms of England and Wales and the International Association of Healing Rooms. 

What we believe

​

Havering Healing Rooms holds to the International Association of Healing Rooms statement of faith:​

​

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, written under the guidance, influence and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe the Word of God brings provision for healing.

  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

  • We believe there is a filling of the Holy Spirit that is available to every Christian, who in faith asks for it.

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life and is empowered to do the "greater works" that Jesus said we would.

  • We believe in the nine gifts of the Spirit and the importance of the fruit of the Spirit which empowers the gifts.

  • We believe this is a body ministry whereby the whole church (body of Christ) can come together to get the whole church, city and nation healed.
